Today's Weather

Supposed to hit almost 50 this Friday or Saturday up here, but it brings rain, then by Monday it changes to snow/ice and the temps plummet - lows Monday are supposed to be around 10. Later.
 
Loads of rain here, we have had floods in York and around Selby where I am. Only had one frost this winter so far, no snow, very strange, is it global warming?
 
Getting our first real snow now - 1-3 inches and those temps are dropping - wind chill of around 0 by tomorrow morning. I hope this is just a short burst and it warms back up, they are out going crazy with the salt and sand already on the roads this morning. Later.
 
Here in central Maine its supposed to hit 45f rain, fog. gonna stay above freezing till tomorrow night. They sanded all the roads yesterday and its like a mud bath.
 
Well I bet Jarneys pond is frozen over, as I woke up today it was 5deg out,and we got about 3inch snow and 35+ mph winds Saturday into Sunday!!! Old man winter has taken his speedo and suntan cream off and back to his same old self around here!!!!:pistols:
 
Yeah, it's chilly for sure. My truck is not wanting to start very well, so I think I may have to look into a battery real soon.........Later.
 
Bite your tongue - hahaha - we're about halfway through the winter, been somewhat mild up until the last week or two - really cold and got some snow - I'm ready for some warm and dry weather already - cabin fever is setting in.........It's supposed to get up around the low 40's early this coming week - that will be a nice change and a chance to melt the snow we have..............Later.
 
I woke up this morning, looked out a window and said Holy !@#$%$. There has to be close to 2 feet of snow. Won't know for sure 'till I get outside. And it's still snowing.
 
:hello: My Niece that lives on top of Swiggle MT in Mineral Point, PA has close to 30 inches of snow on the ground. It went down to 30* last night here in Deltona FL & is now 50.
 
Don't know what the final total will be 'cause it's still slowly coming down. I spent about 3 1/2 hours outside this morning with the equipment. My snowblower is a 9 horse power with 29 inch path and fairly high. At times the snow was over top of the intake auger.
First pic shows the depth on the pickup truck bed.
Second pic, I had to snow blow a path for the dob to do her business.
Third shows snow up to my knees.

:hello: Nice. We've never had a snow blower or a garage while living in PA. I remember in the 70s we had 10 straight years of deep snow. One year a guy I knew got his Blazer stuck while Deer hunting. They didn't find him for 5 days. Likely he had his cold weather gear & food that he had for hunting. The snow blower that the Township used got hung up in his Blazer. I remember the snow in the back woods secondary roads the snow would be as high as the power lines.
 
Whew, glad that stuff went east this time. Just hunker down in that fancy garage Furchin and wait it out if you can - as long as you've got that beer fridge full - hahaha. Later.
 
:hello: Unless you own a liquid cooled sled or a side by side you can enjoy it. Not sure if Flint Lock Season is done in PA. You also have the late Archery & Small Game you can hunt.
