While I tried pine-sol & a half a dozen other cleaners. None was better than what I already tried. I'm doing research on other products & found one supplier that has an agent that they say makes aluminum shine. It runs $57 a gallon & you need to use 8 ozs. per gallon of water. I don't want to buy it & it not do as they say.
For me no better than the LA Totally Awesome. It's $1.00 for a half gallon. Here is what I was looking at. http://www.sharpertek.com/shclsoforreo.html
So has anyone else used a ultrasonic cleaner & or know of someone who might know what to use for cleaning parts to make them shine. I really do not want to spend $60 or more on the wrong product. And yes I sent Rick a PM but he did not respond. Also he read this thread & visited my profile.
Buffing is a pain in the ass.

I'd like to know if buffing them would you do them assembled (each carb) or not. How would you go about getting in all those nooks & crannies. Still seems to me they would not get the same tint/shine all the way around.
I do not think it is blasting media. One form of blasting material that comes to mind is ground up walnut shells. That may work. It is the finest/softest media that I know of. I'll ask my powder coat guy to see if he knows. He won't mind giving some input.
