Well guys, I'm so pi$$ed right now I could spit nails!!! Get this, thirty days out from the event and Lake Timberland is screwing me with my pants on by telling me they've rented my cabin to someone else. I've had the damned thing reserved since last year when I left it......just like the year before! I even called up and confirmed it a couple of months ago and all was good. Now, it's a different story! Not only me but the other two people are screwed too that were in it with me! If it's someone from here that rented cabin#3, you have my cabin!!! Looks like I'm out of this years' event guys. Sorry WillyD and Jarney, they're giving the shaft to all of us!
Ok, you did not get your cabin, but that is no reason not to go. I called the camp grounds 11 times in 8 days with no return call. The last call I made the message I left was not nice to say the least. I'll be sleeping in the back of my pick up truck. I'v done that from 1991 to 2002 in PA during Rifle season before we got bids on a cabin at Forest Ridge Camp Grounds in Marionville PA. In 2005 we got there & someone else had our cabin. Management refunded us our $700 & let us say on the premises for free. These things happen all the time but that is no reason to ruin your fun.
