:hello: This reminds me of a scam call I received last month. They said they were calling from some Government Agency saying that I was awarded a $7000 grant to do with what ever I wanted. In order to receive the check all's they needed was my checking account & routing #. I told the lady no way. She said that she can't make me take the money. I told her that she needs to be hunted down & exterminated. Then I told her in Spanish some very nasty words. Then a week later my mother-in-law received the same call & it was the same woman. I went off on that ***** like the Tasmanian Devil. So now I have to screen all calls during the day. The sad thing is nothing can be done about this crap.

Moab, took the words rite outta my mouth !!! just a crying shame that there are so many willing to advantage of other people for their own gain.
 
I keep getting the calls about lowering my credit card rate. I play along, saying I would like to lower my rate, then they ask me for my credit card which has the balance, so I tell them, let me go find it, then I wait, about a minute later, I say, shoot, I thought I had it here, hold on I think I know where it is at, then another minute or two, same speech. I keep this up until I know they can't take it anymore, then I tell them "Dude, I'm just F..king with you, I'm not giving out my credit card info", then hang up.

Another time I had the woman going, saying I needed a job due to my credit card debit, which I said you guys should know since your calling me. Almost, had her give me the site so I could apply for a job, man if I would have had that information, it would have been all over the net.
 
:hello: What sickens me about terrorists is they are cowards. They have to hide & secretly kill the innocent. If they wanted to fight out in the open on our ground they wouldn't last a minute. The only way to avoid them I guess is to avoid big cities. Then again there is no real answer. Can't go to war with a people that has no real Country. Just my 2 cents.
 
I have my police department number in my phone and don't worry if I infringed on someones rights when I call in a suspecious person. I don't care, if I don't know you and see you lingering around my 'hood, expect a visit from the local 5'O. I know all my neighbors on the block and we always keep an eye out for each other.
 
Good on you rammy...I don't let anything shady go on in my neighborhood either,the best way to run those suspicious characters off is to say 'Hi' to them as they walk by.

:hello: We just put on our camo & give them the evil eye. One night 3 shady characters were snooping around the vacant house across the street. I was cleaning my 4 x 4 ATV. I turned on my spot light on my ATV. It was like 3 deer in the head lights. :laughing7: They tripped over one another trying to run.

Are you and the people you work for aware of 419eater.com and the scamwarners website? 419eater 'bait' the scammers and get them to do silly things like holding up signs with rude slogans, participate in bizarre 'rituals' for non-existant churches and they've even managed to get some of them to get tattoos! Scamwarners are really useful as they store all info reported to them as searchable by all the search engines, so if you get a phone number to call, google it and if it's on scamwarners then someone has already lost out. :(

The baiters have an ethics code that essentially says keep it fake all the way, don't involve innocent 3rd parties (for example, getting scammers to send mail to your local police station is not allowed.) and use as much of their time up as possible! They also shut down dodgy bank accounts, credit cards and fake websites. ;)
