If only you were closer you would be able to spend some play time with your new toy making a flat spot on my hill for a garage.

Now that I have a chunk of cash no one wants to sell their used TLB. It's a sad state of affairs.

Patience something will come up. I have an old Massey Ferguson mf50c ton. It's an animal but parts are becoming near impossible to get. The tlb are a very nice compromise if you need only 1 tool. I have a large skid loader so a tlb would be redundant.

:hello: My two Sons Jonathan and Jared bought a portable car lift jack from HOME DEPOT. They have the best price. $1,300 shipped. It's made by QUICK JACK. It has a 5000 lb weight limit. They make one that has a 7,000 lb weight limit. You can buy a lot of add ons for it. They even make an attachment for converting it to a ATV/BIKE lift. https://www.homedepot.com/s/quick%20jack%20car%20lift?NCNI-5 . ATV attachment. $580. https://www.quickjack.com/pub/downloads/sales-flyers/QuickJack-ATV-Motorcycle-Lift-Kit-5150006.pdf . _____________________________IMG_9337.JPG IMG_9338.JPG IMG_9339.JPG IMG_9340.JPG IMG_9342.JPG

:hello: ENDOSNAKE bore camera I found out that I had the LED lights on the low setting. When set on the high setting it works just fine. Also I set it on a higher resolution. Use and operation is very simple. See post #134 for more details. These pics are of the inside of my YAMAHA sport quads cyn. 20-07-05_18_00_05[1].png 20-07-05_17_59_01[1].png 20-07-05_14_17_00[1].png 20-07-05_14_19_08[1].png 20-07-05_14_21_03[1].png 20-07-05_14_20_49[1].png

A shovel with a motor! It's got it's work cut out for it round here. Piranha tooth bar on front bucket and underbelly armor so far. Ordered a quick bucket disconnect and a Bxpanded root ripper tooth for the hoe. I think once i become more efficient on the controls I will probably rent something like Lowlife has to do some earth flattening.

A few valuable lessons learned already, they don't like playing in the mud and don't rest your hand raising the full loader when reversing because lots of that dirt dumps on the hood when you stop... tasty dust...not!

:hello: I ordered these two JAPAN JIS VESSEL stubby phillips screwdrivers from Japan 2 months ago. I guess they are FREE. :laughing7:. I canceled both but they sent them anyway. Also I bought a set of Electrician screwdrivers. Made by PENGGONG out of Hong Kong. $18 shipped. They seem to be of good quality. The case is heavy duty and has a belt loop. Most of the time when replacing switches and outlets I do them hot. I'm to lazy to go to the garage and turn off the breaker. :laughing7:. If need be I just short the hot wire to ground in order to trip the breaker. It saves me a trip to the garage. :laughing7:. This also saves time when a breaker is mislabelled or not labeled at all. https://www.ebay.com/itm/7-PCS-Electricians-Insulated-Electrical-Hand-Screwdriver-Tool-Set-Magnetic-Kit/203007756136?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 . ___________________________________IMG_9397.JPG IMG_9398.JPG IMG_9399.JPG IMG_9400.JPG

Nice Kubota. I had a used BX23, only 10 years old - coincidentally, after about ten years, all the hydraulic lines fail, one after the other after the other. (Pro tip - If you don't have one already, find a hydraulic hose shop near you if you have a Kubota with some years on it!)

The other valuable lesson - plant the bucket and lift the front wheels before you use the backhoe. Previous owner of my rig apparently didn't, and beet the crap out of the front from bouncing up and down. Cracked both wheel hub assemblies, and then did a crap weld job on them. I couldn't get the plugs out to drain the oil in the hubs since they were welded in. Cost me over $1,000 to get new hubs and get it rebuilt.

Thanks for the heads up on operation and repair, have a hydraulic shop 15 minutes away. I will replace all the hoses for each implement as they start to go. I keep it under roof and it looks like it used to be a garage queen so hopefully it will treat me well.

:hello: I bought a gravity fed sand blaster from AMOZON. $70 shipped. It's made in the USA by ZENDEX Tool Corp. I also bought for it a water separator made by NEIKO. $9 shipped from AMOZON. IMG_9479.JPG

Man, that's steep compared to HF @ $16 after coupon. I'm all for made in the USA but when it's over 4X the price I got to think twice. They do work well and that separator isn't really needed on that tool but other tools it will help. The air just blows the sand falling from the hopper, moisture won't gum up the sand like it does on the big canister sandblasters, they are temperamental with damp sand.

:hello: You get what you pay for. The Speed Blaster works great. I had more than one of the cheap knock offs and they was junk. The reason I spent the $70 on this USA made one is because my Brother-In-Law Ron B. has the same one as I have. He used it weekly for over 30 years at the Dealer Ships that he worked for. Here in FL with our 90% humidity you need to use water separators on air lines. Some times when sand blasting I do it on the back porch and I have to run 150 feet of air line.

When it's cold here my die grinder freezes up, that separator would work great for that. I only use my blaster a few times a year so the junk works for me. I can't wait to get a cabinet...thanks for the reminder of another thing I need.:)

:hello: A few weeks ago I bought a CHINA made pressurized sand blaster from Harbor Freight. $80. I put it together and tested it with no sand. I went in the house for about 10 minutes and came back outside and 2 of the fittings blew apart. I took it back to H. F. and told them what happened and that they should tell the maker of this CHINA junk what happened. The Manager told me that that was not something they do. I called the 800 # and they said that they just send out new replacement parts. I asked who do I call about defected parts. They did not know. What an FN joke!!!

:hello: Did some sand blasting and painting today on my 40 year old tandem trailer wheels. The bead around the rims was really rusty and the tires would loose air over night. Used both sand blasters. One my 30 year old USA CRAFTSMAN and the new USA ZENDEX. The speed blaster is twice as fast as the old SEARS one. Today is the first day in a Month that it didn't rain. We had over 40 inches of rain in 35 days. Today it got up to only 84*. IMG_9480.JPG IMG_9481.JPG IMG_9482.JPG IMG_9483.JPG IMG_9484.JPG

Picking this setup up tomorrow for a song it's almost embarrassing how little he wants for it. Lathe, Disk Sander, Belt Sander, Planer, Jointer, Scroll saw, band saw, and table saw. Found it on local CL, dude taught high school woodworking now has cancer and getting rid of his equipment. Real nice guy, said it has everything, only thing I see that I may keep an eye out for is a speed reducer to turn bowls. I let him know that I was just getting into it and he said he will load me up with books and mags, maybe he will have some wood stockpiled. Hopefully he has a bunch of clamps and things, said he wants to hold on to his router for now. I'm going to have a couple of extra bucks on hand to see what else he could set me up with out of his shop.

This, my radial arm saw and sliding compound miter saw should set me up for some projects. Now to make some time to learn a new hobby.
