:hello: I sand blasted all 9 water pump propellers and shafts then polished all the shafts. Then installed the ceramic disk onto all 9 shafts and seated them into the propellers. Next I installed the inside bearing in all 9 pumps. For 5 pumps I installed the mechanical seal, the propeller/shaft, outside bearing and the C clips. 1 pump I installed the oil seal. The OEM oil seals will be here Friday. Time spent 4 hours. ____________________ IMG_9083.JPG IMG_9084.JPG IMG_9085.JPG IMG_9088.JPG IMG_9110.JPG IMG_9114.JPG IMG_9096.JPG IMG_9097.JPG IMG_9098.JPG IMG_9099.JPG IMG_9100.JPG IMG_9102.JPG IMG_9111.JPG IMG_9112.JPG IMG_9116.JPG IMG_9104.JPG IMG_9106.JPG IMG_9105.JPG IMG_9107.JPG IMG_9113.JPG

Looking like your ready to go to a store or restaurant and protect yourself from the virus

:hello: Ya, I am. :laughing7:. My German made gore tex rain jacket will keep the cone head virus at bay. :laughing7:. I have 12 OEM water pump oil seals coming on two different orders. Also four OEM cermic mechanical seals. I should see all the parts this Friday. I'll finish up the 9 pumps by this coming Sunday. IMG_9132.JPG

It's a great deal you are providing the members, those pumps go for big bucks if you have to buy a new one.

:hello: Here is a list of all the parts, part numbers and prices for all OEM parts to rebuild a ZL9/10 water pump. Total $98. IMG_9137.JPG

:hello: Guys I'm still waiting on OEM oil seals for the pumps. Partzilla now says they will ship this thrusday. I should see them next Monday. Partzilla has shipping delays because of this conehead virus crap. Also they are shipping out nearly 5,000 orders a month for the past 4 months so they tell me.

Anything mail order is getting crushed thru these lockdowns.

:hello: I'm, not sure when I'll finish these water pumps. I placed 3 different orders for the oil seals. Now I can't find any of them. I'm so pissed!!!

:hello: To the 3 members that are getting 5 pumps done. I run into a problem. Come to find out the ceramic seal is not the right size so I'm looking for another supplier.

:hello: No not yet. Since you paid me months ago I'll take the ceramic seal from an OEM 32 mm unit and use it in your pump. Give me a week or so and I'll get it to you.

I'm in no hurry, just wanted to have it as a spare and the one on my bike is holding. Just take care of all the pumps at once like your original plan. I was just curious if you found a source.

:hello: Today I took all the water pumps back apart that I had done and ready for paint so I can swap out the ceramic seal with the correct one. Some time this week I'm going to All Florida Plumbing in Daytona Beach FL so I can match up the 35 mm ceramic seal.

Hello guys, great thread, I'm about to replace my mechanical seal and ceramic seal (already ordered) on my Ninja 300 due to coolant seeping from the weep hole. While I'm in there I figure I'd replace the oil seal and bearing.

Would anyone happen to know if the bearing and oil seal discussed earlier in this thread would fit this water pump https://www.kawasakipartshouse.com/oemparts/a/kaw/52bc61e9f8700245fc6a42fa/water-pipe

Part #: 49044-0554

Thanks.

:hello: I've done my EL 250 water pump which is the same as the 250 Ninja. Take your 300 Ninja pump apart and check the part number on the bearing.
