This past Weekend I installed my new window on the side of my garage. Price $165. It's 48" wide & 36" tall. I put the propper header above the window frame. It took me about 20 hours to complete the job. The window panes are double pane tinted E glass. E glass means that it blocks about 85% of the heat. I still need to finish the inside with drywall, drywall mud, orange pill & paint. I'm going to wait to get the window A/C unit until April.

Two weeks ago I built a couple of quick racks for some of my clamps. Used all 3/4” oak. Put pieces of aluminum on the front edges so the clamps can’t easily come off the front.

Last week I started building another workbench on the back wall. It’s 2’x6’ and the top is 3/16” plate steel. Of course once I got it all framed it was too plain for me so I’m gonna wrap it all in oak. More pics to come.

My Son Jared made a free standing desk, shelving & bench for his bed room. The desk is stain grade red oak 3/4 " plywood wrapped in 3/4 " x 3 " stain grade red oak trim. He stained it red oak & put 3 coats of urathain He bought all theses gadgets to keep all the wiring & backup battery power supply up off the floor. Also he built his Computer. _____________________________________________________________

I just finished this bookcase that I built for a friend. It’s a surprise for her boyfriends birthday.

Coming soon is the completion of my steel top workbench. I decided to wrap the whole thing in oak for a finished look. I have it done except the four doors I’m building for the front.

We have a store near us called Amish Direct. They get all of there furniture out of PA. It's all hand made with no press board. It is very exapensive but it's top notch.

Spent some time in the basement. Put up the pegboard and mostly loaded it up with hand tools robbed from my project totes and tool belt. Now destined to make 100 trips up and down the steps till I get used to loading up the little box. The box was getting stuffed too full to find the things I needed anyways. I still like grab and go boxes for plumbing, electrical, paint...

Mostly home owner project oriented for the pegboard, any suggestions as to what fill the small space I have available with?

I will rethink my clamp locations if I ever get serious about wood working and amass a collection of clamps like Willy's.

What I do on peg boards is a staging area of supplies for up & coming projects for small parts that way I can look on the wall for what I have so that I don't buy them items again. .

Well here is my plain workbench with some bling added. I got the idea to add side panels and four doors to look much like the top since I loved that metal surrounded with the oak. The panels are sheet metal and 1/4 plywood sandwiched together. The plate steel would have been way too heavy.
