The water pumps casted portion that the ceramic seals cup seats/presses into is tapered so it's kind of hard to get a proper measurement. Take your measurement at the very tip of the lip. An old/used cup measures smaller in diameter than a new one. This is due to after pressing in a new one the water pumps body makes the over all diameter about 1/2 mm to 1 mm smaller. So when installing a used seal make sure you put a bead of a high quality type of sealant around the rim of the cup. I use the gray RTV. Also remember to wipe off any sealant the remains on the pumps body.
The link to the European source for the mechanical seal (GpzZone) has 2 sizes - small 32mm and large 35mm but they measure across the widest part of the aluminum part of the seal. Hope that helps.
